We specialise in developing
Microsoft Access Database Applications, e.g. Stock
Control systems, Time Clock and Time Management systems,
Contacts Management and specialist applications.
We think Access is the jewel
in Microsoft’s crown. Under rated and under valued, it
is a very powerful application for creating business
applications. They can be very simple, created using
templates without much knowledge or they can be very
complex, linking into other Office applications, such as
Excel, or other databases such as SQL or Azure.
We have produced many
different systems for clients over the years, including
factory management, stock control, time clock and
customer record databases, a Course/Customer Record Management
system for a dog trainer, Auction Management Software
for over 20 auctioneers.
More recently we have developed Purchase Order
management systems for two major ship repair
companies which they use to help manage a major MoD
contract. We have also developed software for major MoD
suppliers to print MoD640 forms.
Finally, we have developed Access databases to
help manage a number of Contract Packing units, which
include the design and recording of Packing Specs,
the printing of Despatch Paperwork, MoD and P2P
labels, MoD 640s and custom labels for aerospace
companies, such as Augusta Westland and Boeing.
One client manages
their entire £8 million business with databases that we
have developed for them. We have
worked with them for nearly 20 years, refining and
tweaking the various databases to provide reliable and
consistent data. The databases are focused entirely on their
business and their business needs. They don't have to
make compromises. The software does what they need
it to do - they are not forced to change their practices
to fit in with some generalist package.

RECENT PROJECTS...

Microsoft Access has been part of
Microsoft Office Professional suite for many years and we have
worked with virtually all versions. The current version is
Access 365 and, in our view, is the best of the different
versions with a host of new features. Microsoft Office
Professional 365 is the leading business software and this version includes,
Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Publisher, OneNote and
InfoPath.
We can also supply databases as 'Run
Time' versions, which do not require Access to be installed on
the PCs. However, you will lose some of the functionality
that Access installed provides.
